Who would have thought that adding brightness option to settings could be so tricky. SDL is kind of limited regarding this, because only option is to set brightness for whole window (aka. Monitor). This is something that I, as a user, would not like at all. Instead we increase/decrease brightness of drawn sprites by overlaying it with white/black alpha layer. Even though this does not make white brighter or black darker, but it changes brightness of generated world nicely. Also we kind of hope, that each user will have set basic brightness of monitor to his preferred level.
